- 4 lessons scheduled at teacher/student convenience, 1 summer performance workshop
- If student cannot make the performance workshop, an optional 5th lesson is available instead

37 scheduled weeks in the September 2023 – June 2024 academic year: 31 lessons (one-on-one, partner or group), 6 performance workshop weeks (4 doubling as makeup weeks).

There are four Performance Workshop Weeks with no regularly scheduled lessons. December and June workshop weeks may function as a additional makeup weeks if necessary.
Makeup lessons on these weeks, plus the day before Thanksgiving break, are available for lessons missed due to inclement weather/technological difficulties, sickness/emergency, or teacher absence, if such lessons could not be otherwise rescheduled.
Scheduling must be discussed in advance.

** Note for adult students about performance workshops/makeup weeks
Adult students have the option of participating in music get-togethers with fellow adult students, or opting for up to four additional private lessons. These lessons may be scheduled for workshop weeks.
